Hi guys and girls... I have a lot of travelling to do at them moment, so I'm trying to find books to fill up my kindle, I've looked at the book charts, but thought I'd also ask you guys... I'll write a list below of the last 5 books I've read, so if you've read the same, and think I'll like similar... I'm open to suggestions. Thx. :D

i World War Z - Max Brooks

ii Hunger Games Trilogy

iii Handling the Undead - John Ajvide Lindqvist

iv Before I go to Sleep - S.J.Watson

v In the Dark - Richard Laymon

Many Thanks :)

If you like dystopian themes like those in the Hunger Games, a little romance, and a ton of action, try these, with summaries taken from yawestruck.blogspot.com, which lists great teen reads.

The Shore of Monsters and Fall of Darkness by David J. Nix - Five generations earlier, a horde of monsters nearly obliterated humanity. All males are dead or ruined by a monster plague; words like 'father' and 'romance' have lost meaning. When teenager Sky joins an expedition to the shore that falls apart, she must survive amongst the monsters that roam the ruins. She gets unexpected help from a very surprising source. Mystery, action, and romance follow! Two-part series.

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan - Seven generations have passed since the Return, a plague that reanimates dead humans into creatures that feed on the living. Teenager Mary lives inside one of the last enclaves of uninfected, protected by a chain link fence that surrounds her village. When the fence is breached, Mary flees the village with a small band of survivors. Their flight toward an uncertain salvation is both harrowing and revealing, as they try to determine if they are humanity’s last hope.

Uglies by Scott Westerfield - In a future society, a mandatory operation at age 16 wipes out physical differences, turning "Uglies" into "Pretties". The Pretties are allowed freedom to play, while the Uglies jealously await their turn. Ugly Tally has gotten into trouble that may forfeit her operation. The menacing government offers her a way out: find a group of rebel Uglies, infiltrate, and betray them. Tally agrees, but upon finding the rebels comes to understand the terrible price of becoming pretty.

Also try "Shipbreaker" by Paolo Bacigalupi. He is a great writer, and it looks like this book will become a series. In a near future earth where climate change has flooded the coastlines, a teen boy works on a crew of teens who salvage material from wrecked ships. When he finds a beautiful wealthy girl on a shipwrecked yacht after a storm, he gets sucked into the middle of a war. As he falls for the girl, he must decide where his allegiances lie.

Don't overlook the classics. Several years ago, right before the Lord of the Rings movies started coming out, I mentioned to a friend how excited I was. It turned out she had never read the books, so I loaned her my copies. She was totally blown away. Every time I saw her she said she just couldn't put the books down, reading them as fast as she could.

I haven't had much luck with newer books. I enjoyed the Millenium Trilogy by Steig Larsen (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, etc.), but I found the author's style a bit uncomfortable. I've heard lots of good things about the Game of Thrones series, and I've enjoyed other books by their author (George R. R. Martin), but I haven't had the time or energy to get them yet.

I've always been a big fan of Robert A. Heinlein, but his stuff is getting kind of dated. Every book by Neal Stephenson has been terrific, the best two being Snow Crash and The Diamond Age.

Here's one more for you: "Silver Wings" By: Joseph Emmanuel Trust. Read this brief description of the book to see if it's something you'd like:

“Silver Wings is the first fiction novel which delves into Ederen’s life, a young sange (half-angel, half-human) who opened his eyes ten months ago with no memory of his past and a sole recurring dream. While trying to uncover what was lost, Ederen is captured and enslaved, where he befriends Anaxia, and Aenea. After a manipulated escape, Ederen breaks free to find himself in the middle of a war between two brother races fighting for control. To survive, he must choose between the friend who saved his life, and the woman who entranced his heart, but one of these must pay the ultimate sacrifice.”

Enjoy your reading time while traveling!

If you liked WWZ, you'll love the Kindle. They have zombie books coming out the whazoo! I suggest looking at the White Flag of the Dead series and Zombie Fallout series. Another good one was written by Todd Sprague, but I can't remember the title. Another good one is Mad Swine, but it looks like that's switch publishers and may not be available for the Kindle right now, though I downloaded and read it last year.

You might like Feed by Mira Grant, Ex-Heroes by Peter Clines or the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. Although they're slightly different, you might also like Westerfeld's Peeps series and the Leviathan trilogy.

The Book Thief is a very good book as are the Stephen King books if you like horror. Anyway I would recommend The Book Thief as its about a little girl growing up in Nazi Germany and its very good.

The book I am currently reading, The Ghost, is actually pretty good. Based on a person like me, who goes to write about a Prime Minister. (It is completely fictional) but I'm enjoying it. Don't know if you will, but we all have different opinions.
