My son will only send text message. How do I get him to call?

just write to him some notice sentences .it means some thing that help him to remember some relations the same as

every time your voice was better than you handwriting.

when you talk indirectly you will gain your goal. it's a role for all in this world. never talk directly because no-one loves order

Texting has it's advantages- to send a quick message, "Hey, I'm going to be alittle late." etc, or if he's doing something or in a place he can't talk. He probably just likes the simplicity of texting bc you get information without having to sit on the phone and make chit chat. Sounds like you want some chit chat.

The next time you talk to him, or you can even text him and say, "You can call me sometimes, you know."

That way, he'll know you want to talk to him (typical parents)- hear his voice, all that jazz, but he can text you when he needs to. It'll make him more conscientious. Or on a particular day you want to talk to him... YOU call him, or send a text that says, "Call me."

When you need him to call you instead of texts, tell him if you dont, i will take the phone away. And say something like, "i didnt get you that phone so you can text me, thats for your friends. I got you a phone so we can call each other when i need to."

You never stated how old your son is. When he texts you call him back instead of texting him back. AKA You're talking to him.

Tell him he needs to call you. Take away his texting.

Call him and tell him you expect him to call you.
