Why can't I insert both a running head and a page no. at the top of the page in Microsoft Word, Windows 7?
I keep trying and I can't get them on the page at the same time. Please don't ask me to put the page no. at the bottom because I have to have it at the top according to the APA style. Tell me what to do. Urgent question so ten points to whoever answers first and correctly.

What is a running head?
I would not design a doc for APA. Plenty of people have done it correctly before. Go to File, New, and click on Reports and Academic papers. There you will find APA formatted templates. Also, on the References tab, Citations & Bibliography group, click on the down arrow next to Style and select APA.
You may heve to modify it slightly, but others have done the heavy lifting for you.
