New filter replacing cycled filter= restarted tank or...?
My Aqua Clear filter is all screwed up for some reason, so I plan on getting a new one. Would getting a new filter and replacing it with a cycled filter mean re-starting my tank? It is a 10g.

If your replacing it with wet, cycled media then your tank may go through a mini cycle but that's all.
