Extreme nervousness with social situations?

I'm 16.

I've always felt a little odd, and not very socially there. If that makes sense.

I've always been insanely scared of all things public speaking, talking to new people/strangers, adults, people I don't know well, authoritative figures, having long conversations, I preform extremely poor under pressure (tests, etc.), and all that sort of stuff.

Could it be social anxiety disorder? Or something else?

Any help you can offer will be great, it's beginning to really affect my life.

I used to be like that,I mean well I still am sort of ,you just got to know who you are (find yourself) and be confident and not give a f*ck what any one else thinks.I never liked public speaking or talking to people I didn't know but I'd like practice in my room speaking out loud everyday and I kinda just got used to it.If it bothers you though that much take online classes thats what i do and i love it,i still go out and do every day normal things but its just a little hard for me because i get anxiety from my Schizophrenia. But it def sounds like you have some sort of social anxiety disorder to me,see a psychiatrist first then see a psychologist to help you with the matter, good luck lovely!
