  • Should I try to mend things?

Basically, I was good friends with this guy. I had a little crush on him, but I doubt I'd ever date him. Anyway, he would occasionally make insanely passive aggressive, hurtful comments towards me, which untimely ended our friendship. He has insanely low self-esteem, not trying to excuse his behavior though. We got along great otherwise. We had a lot in common and I really miss talking to him.

I'm pretty sure he hates me now, because he made passive aggressive comments towards my friend and me and I started to laugh, which spared more comments. Anyway, should I just say **** it, and give up on it or what?

Tips, etc. would be nice. Thanks a lot!

  • Extreme nervousness with social situations?

    I'm 16.

I've always felt a little odd, and not very socially there. If that makes sense.

I've always been insanely scared of all things public speaking, talking to new people/strangers, adults, people I don't know well, authoritative figures, having long conversations, I preform extremely poor under pressure (tests, etc.), and all that sort of stuff.

Could it be social anxiety disorder? Or something else?

Any help you can offer will be great, it's beginning to really affect my life.

  • What is the style 'new goth'?

Basically, what do the people wear, etc.

I've heard the term, didn't know the meaning...

  • How to stop being quiet?

I'm not shy, exactly. Shy makes me thing unconfident, I'm very confident in myself. I just don't talk a lot. I'm worried about talking, keeping conversations going, etc. Any ideas on fixing this?

I feel like saying stuff like, "so, what do you like to do?" is so cliche. I don't know. I just think people over look who I am because I'm scared about keeping the conversation going.

Ideas, helps, links, whatever would be wonderful:)

  • What are some unique stores online?

I don't want stores like Forever21, Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, etc. I want actual unique stores.

I like having my own style.

  • Tired of being cute and overlooked by guys?

    I look young, I'm 16 but people think I'm 12 -14.

I'm the cute girl with no curves, short, thin.

I wear makeup, and I'm interested in fashion. I don't wear stuff like Holister, etc. I usually buy indie brands. I don't try to show off my boobs, but I do dress mature.

I try to look nice everyday.

Other girls are called pretty, and beautiful, hot. I'm just plain old cute.

    What do you suggest?

*note* I don't mind cute, I just want more. :/

  • Heat sensitive/sick feeling while in heat?

I've had this problem all my life.

If I'm out in the heat for a while i feel horrible. Like I'm about to get sick, lightheaded, heavy sweating, etc.

I stay hydrated, I'll drink a bottle of water before hand if I know I'll be outside, and keep water with me.

I think it's connected to sugar because once I'll drink a sprite and feel better, and once my friend was with me and it happened and we went into this coffee shop and she got cheese cake. I tried a bite and it made me feel better.

But, I'm their is a fix, because this summer I'm going Costa Rica and don't want to be worrying about whether or not I'll feel sick. I can't even continue walking when I start to feel ill.

Is there a anything this could be?

*Note* I'm very small. This has been going on for all my life, like I said.

  • How to prevent feeling sick/passing out during long, hot parades for marching band?

Super long parade tomorrow, like hour+ of marching. It's going to be hot, 80's. A few summers ago I got heat stroke, and since then I feel disgusting/puke like in the heat. I've almost passed out a few times, and can't be outside for long periods of time. The last two parades we did in marching band we had time to walk around after. And I both times I was extremely light headed/sick to my stomach (about to be).

    Any tips?

  • I feel like I'm reading way to far into this, your thoughts?

He's an awkward kid, like not typical and all that, so I'm unsure of what to read about this situation. Apparently he is close to this girl 2 years older then him. Not sure whats going on there, the guy this is about and I never talk.

    With all that in mind:

-he smiles at me in the hallways, and walks past me when he leaves and waves.

-he said a few words to me today, just asking a question about something he has to do for class. Nothing that concerns me.

-He and I will sometimes meet eyes, and I will sort of glance at him, and he will catch me, and try to hold my eye. I get shy and look down.

I'm horrible at talking to new guys, so if he comes up and talks to me again, what should I do?

  • What do you think of this dress?

I adore dresses. I love Lulus.

My body type: short/slender. No curves what so ever.

What do you think of this dress:

  • How do guys like girls to dress?

I wear dresses, skirts, and skinny jeans. I usually look put together, nice shirt, etc. just because I like to look nice. My clothes fit my frame, not tight or lose or anything. (I'm pretty tiny.) I don't want to come across as high maintenance. :[

But, what do guys like to see a girl wear?

  • Locking eyes with this guy?

We lock eyes. He'll talk to his friend who sits next to me (I'm friends with him too) and when they talk he'll glance over at me, and we lock eyes. When we walk past each other in the hall we lock eyes. I was tying to see the teacher, and he turned around and sort of glared/smirked at me so I don't think he was seriously glaring. He was where I was trying to see. He also did this earlier that day.

He MAY have a girlfriend, my friend spreads a lot of rumors which are hardly ever true. I don't think he likes me, like even in a friendly manner. I feel like he finds me annoying. I don't know him very well, a long time ago I asked him about some bands. But that was over Facebook. I'm not going to lie, I do think he's cute, and would like to get to know him better. But I'm awkward around guys I think are cute, so I don't know how to approach him. Tips on that would be spectacular.

So, what's going on otherwise? Why do we lock eyes?

  • How can I stop liking him?

We have a lot in common, but he's a jerk. I don't want to like him, I don't think it would work. I make him so much sweeter in my imagination because I hardly talk to him. He's cute, but doesn't like me. At all. We don't talk, I have in the past a little. He hates randomly, and it would appear he hates me. He always comments on my status' on Facebook, which is weird. Like, it'll be hours and hours later. I will lock eyes with him, which is probably because I look over at him sometimes.

I want to stop liking him, help!

  • Is it possible he doesn't realize he is coming across as flirty?

He has a girlfriend, but he tickles me, and all touches my arm, and other things.

He wouldn't cheat on her, nor would I ever make a move/flirt with him. Is he just messing about?

  • Could this be a mild case of ADHD? Or something else?

I've never been able to pay attention in class. I fidget, stare out the window, doodle, work ahead. I can't just sit and listen. In fourth grade, I would literally get out of my chair and sit on the floor and do whatever. I'm very unorganized, and get distracted by other things. I can't sit still. I'm always moving my feet, legs, or hands. I can't concentrate on school work. This has caused me a lot of problems. I always do it, but I'll be up really late doing it, and wait until the last minute. I change the subject a lot when talking, and have trouble holding 'normal', 'serious' conversations. When people don't listen to me and do things right the first time, I get extremely mad. I'm really jumpy too. I get A/B's in school. I'm in the highest level classes. This is why I don't think I have ADHD. I'm actually pretty smart, but don't study, or apply myself at all. I'm lucky to have A's and B's. I feel like the more I go on, the worse it is. I'm in hard classes this year, and I feel like I need to be able to focus, and work. Plus, I really want straight A's.

So, what do you all think?

    I'm a girl, and I'm 15.
