Dyed my hair ash brown and ?

After about a week and a half it completely washed out!

How do I keep the color from fading?!

My hair is naturally black, bleached light blonde.

you will need to do a filler...your hair is missing primary colors due to your bleached light blonde hair.. a filler is adding the missing colors that the bleached had removed.. so you need red.. get demi color level 7 with something that has a red maybe 7Red brown or a 7Red or 7copper brown.. once you put that in for like 15 min then wash-dry hair and then add your permanent color. it should last you longer...

People with black hair color usually encounter problems when dyeing their hair. Since black is very dark, simply applying hair dye may not help you achieve the color or shade you desire. If you have back hair and you wish to shift to ash brown hair, you need to do some things before coloring your hair. First, you need to make sure that your hair is in good condition.

First, buy a good brand of hair dye!

Second, make sure you follow all of the instructions exactly as they are typed on the box

Third try not to brush your hair right after dyeing it while it's still wet, it makes the color come out
