I need reassuring comments please!?

My daughter is experiencing light bleeding or spotting. She is barely into her fourth month of pregnancy. I'm a mother of four and never experienced this so I don't know what to think. She's on her way to the hospital now. I'm going crazy! She's in Hawaii and I'm in Texas, so i cant be with her. Please tell me about the outcome if you have gone through this......please!

Update:

@mmffmm you're an idiot.....

Update 2:

Thank you for the kind comments. It gives me some hope. Over exertion could be the reason. She's in the Army and they do 'pregnancy' physical training. Hopefully this is the case! Can't be sex, as her husband is deployed at thus time. oh how I wish I was there. First grand baby!

    It could be nothing. Or it is likely that she'll be on bed rest for awhile for the health of the baby. She could have been over exerting herself which caused her to bleed slightly. Either way, try to keep your chin up and hope for the best. Light spotting does not always mean the worst.

    Most likely the baby is just pressing on her cervix causing bleeding, she will have to take it easy during the rest of her pregnancy but im sure there is nothing to worry about your daughter and grandchild will both be fine

    could be something and nothing, i had bleeding during my 2nd pregnancy and have also known a few other friends to have bleeding and there babies were all fine, could be something simple like infection, but it maybe something so best get checked out

    oh and my 1st baby was stillborn and i had no "bad" symptoms at all and had a few scary monents with my 2nd and my daughter is now 2 and a half, hope everything if fine but she is doing the best thing but gettin checked, try not to worry until u have something to worry abt!!!

    It is very common to have light bleeding during pregnancy, especially after sex. I had it during my first trimester and was just fine. As long as it's light and brown, not bright red, it is generally fine. The doctors will be able to let her know exactly what is going on but I wouldn't be too concerned.
