Why are liberals, one by one, so eager to blindly join the rest of the flock of sheep.?

I remember being younger and having liberalism pushed on me at school and by other nut-jobs. I thought at that time Liberalism was about freedom. Now after getting older and much wiser I absolutely 100% know it is just the opposite. Liberals stand for anything, but freedom. The liberals today have no concept of limited powers and will stop at nothing to cheat the system and encourage government intrusion into every aspect of our lives. Liberals today seem to be just a bunch of "busy-bodied, power-tripping" morons. Tax on soda, eradication of Ronald McDonald. Tax Tax Tax, Tax, spend, spend spend. Then rob the people that have most likely risked a whole lot more so that we can study whether or not poop actually tastes good to a dung beetle using a $150,000 government grant. It never stops. They hide behind things like legalizing marijuana as a show of freedom-loving, (i would support that too), but then when it really gets down to business they stomp out any possibility of individual liberty and freedom through their non-stop over-reaching legislation. We don't need a nanny state.
