i did a diagnostic test on my car and it gave me trouble code 17 which is ....?

ECM detected incorrect number of spark reference pulses to fuel control reference pulses for 80 crank revolutions.

what does that mean ?

    possible problems

    crank sensor bad

    harmonic balancer bad

    ecm bad

    it means it's not getting the correct number of ignition pules per rpm's - big longer description but I gave you the short one

    means you ned to take it to a shop to be fixed, since you have no clue
