    The smaller the impedance, the less power it is needed to drive them - so they may sound louder.

    32 ohms is twice as much as 16 ohms.

    A 16 ohm driver draws twice as much current as a 32 ohm driver.

    The difference rarely matters to the user.

    Such specifications are included on literature and packaging

    because manufacturers have little else to offer.

    They either don't spend the money, time, and effort

    to learn the other characteristics of their products,

    or they don't want to admit any other pertinent facts.
