I found it very monotonous and boring, i put it down after a few chapters. A good guy friend of mine was reading it at the same time and he stoppped for the same reasons, so i don't think gender matters. But our opinions could be totally different than yours. it depends on the type of person you are, the type of books you like to read, and the type of writing style you likes, so take a chance and read it if you want.
