Do you live in a virtual reality?

Hey Breezy long time no see. :)

Umm well to be honest no!, I don't live in a virtual reality. I live in a world that is much more real than the world most people live in.

If I was living in a virtual world, I couldn't be happy because I know its not real. The only way I would be happy was if I didn't know it was virtual/fake, so in other words I'd have to be deceived into thinking everything around me was real, even if it wasn't.

Hmm however I wonder, even if I didn't know it wasn't real, wouldn't there be something in me telling me that there is something weird about the world around me. You know, that odd feeling that something just isn't right.

Reality... Don't we all have our "own" reality..... at times? That kind of world that only "you" or "me" knows... sometimes? Where no one can reach beside one's own imagination? That kind of satisfaction that people can never achieve "elsewhere"? Ok... I am getting far from the original question... so to answer it.... I live in a world where the sun shines and sets. Where the wind blows on my skin... where I can witness the beautiful night sky... Where a clear blue sky fascinates my senses... Where I can hear people yelling with their noises of excitement and grief... Where kids' laughter are music to my ears... where plants and flowers bloom... where bed is a sanctuary for an exhausted body... where I can smell the sauteed garlic and onions... where my dog runs around and plays... where doors and windows need to be safely closed at night... where my motorcycle travels with me... where an afternoon chat under a tree on a weekend is very enjoyable... where a phone rings and I answer it to hear someone's voice... where morning coffee is the best.... Ahh..... I cannot stop... This is where I live... and I don't call it "virtual reality"...

The mirage of longing too hard to explain,

My world is based on creativity and reality.. My art is a reflection of my real world .I am not happy until i can make my paintings look as real as a photo almost, to replicate what i "see" and feel about my life....My paintings are of my life... I am happy and content creating things.. I have to share the love in my heart, it is overflowing and comes out through being creative... I don't mind visiting this virtual world to share and learn, but it certainly does not hold a candle to my real life. It is nice to visit friends who i have met from this virtual place that are now very real to me.. and very dear to me. (-:

Yes I do. I love my virtual self, I love my fantasy world that I bring to life in my writings.

I love the fantasy worlds I see in my head as I read my favorite books.

I choose to do this on the basis of:

"Fiction is Good and Reality is Bad."

But every now and again I have to return to reality where everything sucks. :-(

Yes, I live in a virtual reality. Yet I must chose to treat this illusion as truth, less I become unable to function in my daily life. I am here, therefore I am trapped.

I live in a world knowing that love will always be the answer
