Braves need new ownership?

I'm just sick of Liberty Media not giving us any cash to play with in the free agent market.

As a long time Braves fan, I feel that ever since Ted Turner sold the Braves, the franchise has gone downhill. They are, and always will be my favorite team, but I'd like to see someone (or another group) take them over and treat them the way Turner did.

Someone like Mark Cuban, just without all the hype and fuss. He likes to be involved in his teams, but sometimes I question how much he tries to overstep the coaches boundaries.

Source(s): I liked Turner since he owned all the networks, and I could see all of the Braves games televised without having to wait for them to play the Mets.
  • The Braves were the team to beat at one time in the NL East.

You guys are one big time pitcher and one big bat away from giving the Phillies a run for the money.

However you are correct if the owners are not willing to invest to better the team whats the use.

You know, since they are the 'owner', it is their decision to decide who will have the ownership.

Well, they are doing quite well at the business point of view, I don't see they want to sell the team any time soon.

Unless you ask John Smoltz, Gregg Maddux, Tom Glavine and Chipper (when he retires) to pool their money together and buy the tean, I don't see anyone want to buy them.

well if you don't like it then buy the team yourself
