If I set up a Non-Profitable website to introduce Korean pop singers and bands and used their name, is it a copyright infringement?

I do not include any of their music or videos and I don't have any ads or asking for payment from my users. I do have a photo slideshow as a feature. I set up the site for my own practice on SEO and the fact that I can actually design a website.

I have created a website and it has a photo slide shows of Korean pop stars that I downloaded from Google image, tumblr and facebook. I have tried to find the owner but those pictures does not show any information of the photographer or company. Some of the photos are published for companies that do not exist anymore. In additional, those pictures are all republished in fan websites or others to download at least several times that I could trace. I have make notes in my website footnotes saying that the I downloaded them from certain websites and the website is non-profitable website without any ads or asking for payment.

I am just about to publish the website. Can anyone help me to see if it is legal for me to publish it?

Say if a girl know if she fights back, she will get hurt so she gives up fighting back. It is still a rape by law but in the circumstances that the evidence is unclear and it is her words against the rapist. For example, it is after a party and the girl did go back with the man as an ambiguous consent to sex and than she changed her mind half way and the man gets aggressive but somehow still remember to put the condom on and the girl was scared of his aggression so she did not fight back at all so there were no particular serious injuries or any injuries at all.

To make the matter worse, she has a complex sex life. And then she goes to the police reporting the crime. Honestly, I think it is very difficult to make it her case.

I wish to write an English poem to a girl but it is not a love letter or any purpose like that.

It is just something for encouraging her because she is going through a very hard time.

I feel using normal writing is a bit common and not really encouraging because sometimes it sounds like I am educating her. It is pretty bad if she felt that way when she is already in a bad mood.

So I thought I should try to learn how to write an English poem; I am Chinese and she is Korean, English becomes our common language.

Is there a general book that I can read so I can learn how to write it? I don’t want to become a poet over night, just some guidance so I can work on it through the weekend and write a poem that can express my gesture.

I have a problem with opening an excel file. I was trying to establish a command control (bottun) and I could not initialise the bottun so I gave up. I stopped working on the file but I saved the changes. However, from that point, I cannot open the any excel file normally. When I double click any excel file, it opens a empty excel without the spread sheet and I have to use 'open' to open any file I want to open rather than opening the specific excel file from the folder.

I actually did not write any VBA code because I gave up before I made any change and honestly did not change the settings. I changed some security settings to allow the macro but I turned them back as before, I still cannot open the excel file normally.

Did anyone encounter something like this?

I watched a programme talking about his girl is about 160 cm and 50 kg and said that she does not concern her weight so indicating that she thinks she is a bit fat.

I noticed that the younger girls (30 years old or below) from my country are mostly 160~165 cm height and 42~48 kg but for girls over 45 kg, they will try to get their weight under 45 kg.

I live in the UK at the moment and there is a girl that is 42 kg, about 163cm (she said she is 42kg, don’t know the truth). For a white English girl, other women in my office think she is crazy thin.

However, that sort of number for me is just amazing. I am a guy with 105 kg, 185cm. I am twice of their size and so many guys in my office are bigger than me.

Do you think a lot of women are pursuing ‘under weight’ than normal and they are too thin? The girl I was talking about with 42kg looks great and not too thin at alll but she is a good dresser. Dresses can make appearances change a lot. I personally think girls with some weight on and a bit more curvy is better.

I am from Taiwan and often read magazine or newspaper to learn English.

Sometimes, I read Article, it is said 'from (author's name)' so I would know who is the author of the article. However, sometimes is said 'from print edition'.

What is that mean? So the author does not want to show their names on the newspaper?

For me, it is when the actors acting badly so they do not show the intention of the writer so in later scenes, the writer had to ask part of the cast to explain it verbally.

For example, when a couple who has a secret affair but the man was cheating on another and got caught by a security camera and the woman was watching in shock and sad.

Later one, since none of their friends know about the secret affair but they knew something happening with them. So the friends has a line like this ‘They must have something going on. Did you see the look on her face?’

First of all, the situation itself is kind of strange but it is find, drama’s story is always strange.

However, to explain the situation verbally, just further emphasis that the particular drama actors are bad at acting. I found that is very annoying. It happens multiple times in movies or drama I have watched. Mostly from US.

I found that so many people described the opposite sex with all those phrases…I think they are just trying to talk about the same thing and using all different words.

However, it gets even more annoying when they actually try to define people into three different categories (or more); explanation like ‘have you seen beautiful sculptures, you don’t describe that they are cute, right?’ That is a valid argument but we are talking about real person here, I often describe cute girl is beautiful. Men basically want to have sex with girls eventually if they feel that way about them, no matter which category they are into so basically they are all sexy.

I don’t categorise the girls I like, they can all be cute, beautiful and sexy.

I remember one of the Reds' fans asked this question when the Giants were 0-2 in NLCS.

Ok, I can understand clothing, cosmetic products and cars (sort of a tradition for some reason), their commercials with beautiful ladies with or without much of the clothes on will attract some buyers.

Today, I saw a commercial about glasses, a beautiful lady with huge cleavage. One commercial I looked at just about everyday, it is the fried chicken commercial with some sort of a deal, next to it, a cheerleader with cleavage. I have see tons of commercials for product such as PC, monitors, electronics, trainers, bicycles, water filter, AC etc…all of them with some models with cleavages. Even my company website for internal use, ok, they don’t show cleavage but she is attractive in someway, wearing helmet and look like a safety investigator or a wiring technician? I dont' know.

The most strange commercial is about another glasses frame commercial, I think it is from the Specsaver or something. It is about a mid age attractive mom wearing the frame from that company and her daughter’s boyfriend found her more attractive due to the better glasses frames. By the way, albeit the young girl did not show cleavage, I was thinking that no way people are looking at her glasses’ shape.

Does it really work? Anyone really buy those stuff because of those pretty ladies? I also noticed, even the trend is changing, still a lot of more female models with male models. I guess the main purchasing power is still from make consumers. I actually not sure about the purchasing power thing but really, I found ladies showing cleavage in product commercials is kinda ridiculous.

I think he is underrated for three reasons:

1. He does not have much money to work with. He has four big contracts in Chipper, McCann, Hudson and Uggla. They take up about 60% of the total payroll. Chipper and Hudson earned them since they are long time veteran. Dan is failed to meet that sort of the money. McCann is alright. So basically he only has one failed big contract, just like Lowe. That is not too bad of a investment.

2. He invested in a right direction. Young pitcher like Mike Minor, Julio Teheran, Delgado, Beachy, Hanson and Medlen are moving up the ladder and they may or may not turn out to be great but at least to play in turner field, pitching is a key element and I would say that he refuse to trade them for veterans are correct decisions.

3. He sign cheap players and try to get the best out of them. Don’t look down on the small minor league contracts like Troy Glaus, Garret Anderson, Ben Sheets, Paul Janish, Jack Wilson etc. They all played their part and there is no problem just to dump them because the don’t really cost much. It is harsh but it is a good business decision.

What is bad about him?

He does not make particularly good trade decision. McClouth, Lee etc.. I honest think that the Mark Teixeira trade is up for a debate. I don’t think he made that decision and even if he did, he just wanted to make a splash for the new team and people though the Braves could make the playoffs until the rotation fall apart. You really cannot predict the prospects will turn out to be successful. He kept all his young pitching prospects for the last 5 years, except Arodis Vizcaino and honestly, think he can only be a reliever in the future and plague by the injuries. Paul Maholm is doing decent with the Braves anyway.

A lot of the Braves fans hate Wren, I think he is better than people saying.

The Mets: investing or carrying huge hitters’ contract such as Jason Bay or Carlos Beltran etc. moving into Citifield.

The Phillies: investing huge pitchers’ contract nearly 70 millions per year in youknowwhom in Citizen bank park.

I know teams like to invest enough money to build a complete team but at least they need to get their priority right. If the Mets invested in both Lee and Hallday and the Phillies don’t pay those pitchers but keep Jayson Werth and sign Albert Pujols and a good back up second baseman, the result will be better for them. I mean if they can win more games, maybe they don’t have to lose Jose Reyes, Hunter Pence (probably don’t need him anyway), Shane Victorino (so much better playing with the Phillies) etc.

I have been trying to get a flat near my area but it has recently been put on the Auction that I cannot just buy it anymore.

I talked to the agent, she said that I need to pay 480 administration fee, which is fine. And 3000 pounds deposit that will be deducted if I win the autction but if I don't win, the 3000 pounds is none-refundable.

I don't understand the deposit. So if there are 30 people in the auction, they all have to pay 3,000 pounds each and only one person will win. There are the 29 x 3,000 = 87,000 pounds going to?

I am the first time buyer so I have no idea. Can anyone give me any help on this pease? Before I pay with 3,5000 pounds before I even go to the Auction.

It will kinda be a snuff film, right? I heard filming snuff film is illegal (the whole thing is urban Legend anyway). If I make a film about killing myself, it is not really illegal, or is it?

I watched 'Kichiku dai enkai' and 'I spit on your grave' (2010) yesterday. Also watched ‘the girl next door’ (2007) and ‘pathology’.

I don’t think I can just watch either of the movie just straightaway and try to sit through the whole movie. So I play the movie on DVD but play Diablo 3 on the PC.

I think those movies are the movies that I really want to watch just once as a movie fan and just have the experience. Most of them are not very well constructed and pace can be a bit slow so I feel bored and play games.

How do you watch them? Do you really sit through the whole movie with snack and beer? Or you are like me, do some other stuff and just watch the important bit.
