Will Ryan Braun win another NL MVP, again?

His team is bad but he is having a great season.

If the Pirates win wildcard, Andrew McCutchen should win MVP.

If the Pirates don't, Ryan Braun should win MVP.

Unless you put huge defensive bonus on Micheal Bourn, which is very unlikely, and the Braves win division or wildcard (should not dream of winning division), Michael Bourn wins MVP due to be on the winning team.

Update:

Oh yeah, forgot about Posey. But I am traditional and I still think RBI and homeruns are important stats.

Braun is playing well and is definitely the MVP of the Brewers. But Milwaukee is 16 games out of first place. Voters usually go for someone on a contender. That would make his path to a league MVP more difficult.

Actually, the Brewers are only 8.5 games back of the Cardinals for the 2nd wilcard spot. If they have a good setpember, i could see Ryan Braun getting some first place votes.

As of now, I would believe the front runners are Buster Posey and Andrew McCutchen. McCutchen may not get it if the pirates miss the playoffs, but he literally carried the team for the first 110 games.

Posey is having a terrific season offensively, and defensively, plays a tough position, and has stepped up when his team has needed him the most. He would get my vote right now.

probably not, but he should. he's actually been quite underrated since the events of last winter. if he did use PED's, assuming he's not doing them anymore (and who would after that mess?), he's doing as good as or better than he did when he used them. he's on pace for his first 40-homerun season for starters, and he's doing this without Prince Fielder's protection, which many would consider a bad situation for Braun. MVP in my book

I think Posey or McCutchen should win MVP. Braun tested positive for synthetic testosterone and was saved on a technicality by a guy who was fired the next day.

The things holding him back are that the Brewers are not in the post season race and the PEDs last year. I hate the fact that those things are holding him back because he is a really good player. My answer is no and that's unfortunate that it has to be like this

Braun is having the best season. He should win MVP. Just like Matt Kemp should have won last year. There's no way to know. BBWOA are pretty dumb and the MVP means nothing so it doesn't really matter.

I don't know, but I hope the cheater never wins another award in his life . And I also hope he never makes it to the Hall of Fame, should his tainted stats dictate that he should be there .

  • I doubt it. Even though he is having a better year this year than last, the positive test of PED makes it hard for anyone to vote for him.

Once a cheater, always a cheater.

    I hate his arrogance too.
