Copyright infringement.?
If I set up a Non-Profitable website to introduce Korean pop singers and bands and used their name, is it a copyright infringement?
I do not include any of their music or videos and I don't have any ads or asking for payment from my users. I do have a photo slideshow as a feature. I set up the site for my own practice on SEO and the fact that I can actually design a website.

You can talk about these singers and bands. It's fully legal to do things like your own commentary.
The photo slideshow is your problem. All such images are copyrighted automatically when created. You need permission to use them on your site. Sometimes bands (or their record labels) will provide images that are okay for publicity purposes, but you should check with them directly. Do not use things like images, music, or videos without permission. Your own original commentary is legal.
Whether or not you make money is irrelevant. And unless you formally register as a nonprofit, your website actually be "not for profit." Do not call it "nonprofitable."

Technically it absolutely IS copyright infringement but it is highly unlikely you would face any legal issues because the people who might sue you are seeing a substantial benefit from it. They will probably say nothing or contact you and say thanks. On the other hand they may be attempting to do a specific type of branding that your web site does not match. In that case they would probably just ask you to take it down.

Copyright infringement. If you want to work on websites, using copyrighted images is a HUGE no no. Create your own, pay someone to create them or get them licensed is the only way to do it.

As long as the pictures you use are not copyrighted and you're not playing any of their copyrighted music, you should be okay. Putting up a website where you talk about bands and musicians is perfectly legal.

You can not do this legally without permission if you are using photos of the singers.
