How do I avoid another window opening in internet explorer when I do searches on yahoo?

I like to keep working in the same window. Thanks!!

    Set internet explorer to open all searches in same window. Tools------- internet options---------

    advanced and under browsing check box that says open all searches in same window. Hope

    this solves your problem.

    Hello KatzPlac... ,

    If you are using IE8, then click Tools, internet Options, On the General Tab, beneath the section Tabs, click on Settings. On settings, remove check from Enable Tabbed Browsing.

    use Firefox. Internet Explorer is only the best browser if you like viruses (you don't)
