im friends with a girl for like 2 years and whenever we talk we talk alot, but sometimes its like we dont talk for ages, i really like that girl. i proposed her once but through texts like a few months ago, but all i got was " haha what " ? and she started talking to me normally i was like im serious but she kept laughing all the way, and tried to tell me if am missing family and all that cuz i been away from home for a long time, then when i started to talk to her and asked her if she loves someone else? she was like not love but yes i like someone and put an angel smiley to the end. she often teases me and calls me names..but i dont know if she likes ..!! we have been in touch through texts and fb. havent met really ..what to do?

the someone else she likes could be you for all you know. girls can be shy that way :P
haha you should ask her in person, not through text!

Either ask her straight on, and if she says no (its horrible) but at least you have the chance to move on, or maybe ask one of her friends (if they'll tell you). I'm sure if she's generally flirting with you there might be something there (unless you're reading it in the wrong way), and if shes not she's leading you on, and you don't want to be with someone like that. Honestly, I think you need to find someone who you actually know in person. If she says she likes someone else, then you obviously don't have a chance with her. Don't waste your time, find someone else.

Save yourself the agony and just tell her how you feel. If she rejects you, that's the end of it, and you don't have to waste your time on something that wouldn't have happened.
