financial stability is my guess and also maybe they have had bad luck with guys around their own age

It's because now a days guys our age don't want to be in a serious relationship and cheat. I'm not saying all guys are like that but most are. Even worse is that some don't even work! Why would a girl want to be with a loser like that?
