should i keep loafer shoes that have 3/4" space in front of my toe?

I ordered some really nice men's italian loafers on ebay, they are beautiful shoes that retail for $300 and I got them for $90. They are a little big in the toe but they do not slip off of my foot, they hold fine. It's just a little weird knowing they are longer than needed in the front. If I put my thumb down on the toe I can crush the whole front end of the shoe.

I have one day to decide whether to return them or not. There isn't a smaller size available.

    That doesn't sound excessive.

Consider whether you think that a smaller size would fit better. Longer toes are in style now and, if the shoes fit from the instep to the heel and they don't slip off when you walk, these might fit you well.

If you're still unsure, you can take them to a cobbler and ask for his advice.

if they hold fine keep the shoes.

nobody except you know they are slightly bigger than you normally wear. so if they feel fine keep them. Especially if they are really nice shoes at 1/3 of the normal price.

I would rather have them slightly bigger if they hold fine then pay full price or miss out on a great bargain
