Firemouth Cichlid tank mates...?

I currently have a 55 gallon tank with two plecos (8" and 6", both of which I am considering selling), two cory catfish (both around 5"), and a 5" firemouth cichlid. The fish have been together for several years. I'm looking for a few more tank mates for the tank. These are my thoughts:

6-10 Large Tiger or Green Barbs.

1 Red Tail shark

4-7 Black Skirt Tetras.

Sound good? Also, if you have a better/another suggestion for tank mates, let me know! :D

I think the tiger barbs and red tail sharks sound great. Black skirt tetra's are so-so. If you sell your plecos, you may be able to replace them with a pictus catfish.

It may be in your best choice to get a red tail shark or the black skirt tetra. I have actually owned a red tail shark and they are very calm but if you have aquarium snails he will eat them. If not your best choice is the red tail shark.
