My fiance wants a subscription to Maxim?

I live in the UK so unless the US version is markedly different to ours I don't see what the issue is. Yes there are scantily dressed females in it, there are also articles about sport,politics,health etc. It's a magazine aimed at men and men like looking at attractive women but his magazine isn't the only place he'll come across them. Are you going to tell him to avert his eyes from billboards,make him wear blinkers in the street. I'm not being facile it's a genuine question your so insecure that you don't want him to subscribe to a basically harmless and occasionally informative magazine, what's the next step when he's given this up no more films,T.V or holidays at the coast because he may glance an attractive female and this will 'hurt' your feelings. Providing he isn't leering at women in the street, making direct and hurtful comparisons between you and the models and treats you with respect, then I'm afraid I agree with him. If you are genuinely this insecure I suggest you take practical steps to adresss that problem, because realistically the female population of the world are not going to start wearing burkhas in order for you to feel secure.
