What do I do?? My fb status is " not all anniversaries are fun, but the memories are :) "?
So I put that for my status on fb today - the anniversary of my friend's death. My mom made a comment, knowing what I meant about some specific thing my friend and I were infamous for. Another friend wrote "but you are both so lucky!" I thought she meant for knowing the guy.. you know? then another friend wrote "happy anniversary to you both!" NOW... Here is my question: Do I hit GO and write "Umm. . . its the anniversary of a sad occasion, maybe the happy face threw you off". is that rude to 'correct' someone? or do I just ignore it? I have bad ettiquete, I need advise!!

Just ignore it. Don't make your friend feel bad for responding to your post, which in no way was clear that it was a sad occasion. It wasn't her fault she didn't know. So just let it go.
