Does it really matter who the England manager is?
the players haven,t got the quality about them, and are not as good as they think they are.

I believe the manager should be English by birth. However, this reduces the number of suitable applicants significantly and I hope that whoever takes on the task of managing a very ordinary side has thick skin. The fault lies in the fact that most of the better players operating in the Premiership are foreigners and the number of players available to play for the national is relatively small.

Yes it does matter who manages England. Personally i didn't feel that the players 'wanted' to play for Fabio, whereas someone like Redknapp, because he's that sort of personality, i can see the players wanting to work their absolute socks of for him. As a Villa supporter, when Martin O'Neill took charge he turned the Club around and in the last 2 years in charge he had turned them into a top 6 club, he left and it went downhill. He has now taken over as Sunderland manager, with the same group of players under Steve Bruce and already he is turning them around.....why? Because the team want to play well for him. Its really as simple as that.

Of course it doesn't matter. Personally, I don't care who manages them as long as they get the wins they deserve. Note, the wins they *deserve*. If the team doesn't put the effort in, or they put less effort than their opposition, the team doesn't deserve the win. End of discussion. As for their nationality, I don't care, as long as the manager gets the wins and the trophies. Any *true* football fan would, in my eyes, think the same.
