(Sims 3 torrent problem) "No game disk found??"?

I know you don't want to hear it but trust me, don't bother trying to download it. I am pretty good at installing games and this one you will never get to play right.

For the sake of £30 just buy the base game, then download the expansion packs instead. This is because when updates are installed, they are applied to the base game whereas in The Sims 2, they were applied to each expansion. If you have a non genuine Sims 3 as your base game, you're only going to get problems. Trust me! By the way games4theworld are the best for dloading sims 3 games and expansion!

I'm having the exact same problem, and I've seen LOTS of people with the same issue on the Sims Facebook page. In fact, most of the discussion board seems to be about the game not working, rather than people enjoying the game. So frustrating. As of the moment though, people are reporting that the tech support line has been no help at all, so I wouldn't bother. At least they are aware of the problem and will hopefully come out with a solution soon.

I'm using power ISO to mount my disk but have also tried daemon tools, up till yesterday my game worked wonderfully and has ever since I downloaded the games, now when I launch the game a window comes up saying "No game disk found! Please insert the sims 3 game disk before continuing"...

The same exact thing happen to me I tried reseting my computer that still didnt work so i clean the disk and re installed the program now it works just fine hope that helps

Mount the ISO file and don't unmount it while playing the game, it might contain some useful data which is necessary for the game o load & play.

TIP - Mount it every time you play.
