can you slap an intake manifold off of a 5.0 HO onto any ole 302?
jus as the question states. im looking at a 5.0 HO engine and i was wondering if mayb he jus got the intake off of a HO engine and put it on this 302 or is this even possible? thx for the input.and i know i can check the firing order but i jus wanna kno quickly w/o takin valve covers off an turnin the engine over thru all 8.it has the 5.0 HO stamped on the manifold

The '86 T-Bird "speed density" engine came with the same intake....all you'd have to do is pop the HO 5 .0L plate and change it. The 5.0L HO engines usually had cast aluminum valve covers whereas lower class 5.0L were just stamped steel.... Then there is the firing order....
