Help with polynomials!! (degree and number of terms)?
So i wasn't at school for a couple of days and didnt understand what were doing. Right now were doing polynomials and finding the degree and number of terms in the expression. All i need is help for the first problem and i should understand because i have alot of notes about it but cant quite get it. Here's number 1 on my worksheet
Key - ( ) = Power
1. 2p(4) + p(3)
The directions are to state the polynomial by degree and number of terms. If someone could break this problem down in detail im sure i could pickup and use that for each problem (like i said i have notes about it but i dont understand how to state it)

"2p(4)" is a term. "p(3)" is a term. So there are two terms.
The highest exponent is (4), so it is a fourth degree binomial.
