Is this really true? Do men really like women who are "unavailable"?
More and more I keep hearing this. I just don't see how it's true at all.
I remember seeing it in "The Rules" book which I refuse to take any advice from, but now I'm seeing it everywhere, things like "If he's available Tuesday, you're available Thursday" or "don't respond to messages/calls for three days, and never on a weekend.."
Is this really true? Because I always had the impression that men don't want to be chasing women down like that...

They don't like not knowing if you like them, and they don't need all their plans revolving around thevtimes you admit your available. But they really hate when you always need to know where they are every second.

It REALLY depends on the type of men. For example, I myself am (I daresay) quite reasonably well-off in life in regards to financial issues and looks and I know it (the important thing is I believe that to be true, not that it is a fact). If a guy has such a personality as I, then your assumption is correct, they do not like chasing women down, because there is a feeling that eventually a good woman will come by anyways.
However, it must be said for many men who do not have such self-confidence (or ego in some cases). Then it can be said that women who are 'unavailable' (but who IS NOT dating him at the time) seem more appealing due to the mystery and the natural propensity to understand/explore more about the woman.
Judge accordingly whether the man you are thinking of is self-confident to my degree, or someone who really wants to find a woman. Once that judgement is made, you will know the answer to your question.
Good luck!

Apparently some men do, but a REAL MAN would want a woman who is not taken. However, a man will go for a woman who is attached because he doesn't want the responsibility that comes with a woman. its easier for them when the woman is already attached, which means all they are there for is probably free sex on the side. sad to say, but its the same with some women.
As that rule book....ignore it. Make your own rules for your own relationship. Sometimes the minds that write these books are retarded. Hope this is helpful

oh gawd. "THE RULES". gosh those have gotten a lot of people in situations. texting a guy after a date is okay. You can be available whenever you want to be. If you don't repsond to messages it'll feel like your standing him up. Dude the rules can go down the drain.
+ the qustion do men like women who are unavailable? yes they do. They like the chase of getting something without the comittment.
Guys are complicated beings.

Men, like most people, want what they can't have. They also like the chase, it's a game. If something falls into their lap, there's a good chance they'll lose some interest or end up not appreciating the girl. You can't miss someone who's always there.

I think it's important for the woman to show some interest too... it's okay to be available, but it is not okay to stop everything in your life to wait for some guy's phone call. You just need to practice finding that balance.

That is true! defiantly!! Because they like to play games and if you are always available for him, it gets boring for him and he will move on something more interesting.
