What is good against an Ice Barrier deck? (Yugioh)?

ice barriers arent very good at all, id imagine hes running it because its cheap and can be aqquired easily. you can just buy 3 of any of the new structure decks, lost sanctuary , gates of the underworld or dragons collide , then just buy common staple cards from ebay , such as dark hole , monster reborn, heavy storm, mirror force, solemn judgement,2 solemn warning from the new tins and you have a good deck that can easily overcome ice barriers. obviously you want a deck that can do go toe to toe with other decks aswell as ice barrier so id so go for dragons collide, it has common versions of cards that were at one point worth hundreds . e.g dark armed dragon - dragons collide is great as you alos get red eyes darkness metal dragon which is an amazing card , you also can pick and choose other dragons that you want in your hand by using future fusion for 5 headed dragon and using cards like lightpulsar dragon and r.e.d.m.d to get them back - you can also run black luster soldier envoy of the beginning in this deck , one of the best cards in the game

i agree with bill but some good cards you'll need are heavy storm dark hole monster reborn archlord kristya and pot of avarice many will say use pot of duality yes they are handy but the condutional is not special summons the turn you activate it and if you run lost sanctury at 3 respeting the banlist and have max 45 cards and the build is how heavy you're focused in specual summons but as say each duelist have their oun build so my advise is go get 3 deck see the cards and deside which ones work for your strategy and which ones don't

for the.koment go for pure agents you wont waste more than $25.50 + your home state tax because if you go chaos or darklord it can get expencive up to 200 or more and btw welcome back

Ice barriers generally are not competitive, but they have good synchros including Trishula and Brionac. I'd suggest you to purchase The Lost Sanctuary structure deck (http://www.amazon.com/YuGiOh-5Ds-Theme-Deck-Fairy-... and 3 of them. Fairies were not very used until this structure deck came out.

It seems as if the deck is mostly composed of Aqua monsters, so try having lots of Lightning monsters and get the card Mirror Wall or Royal Decree and you will be all set to verse your friend.

Run some devine wraths, or skill drain. That messes up their field monsters effects. It really depends on how u build your deck. Also which one you run.
