What is the best home recipe for Macaroni and cheese?

MAC & CHEESE

1 ½ cups uncooked macaroni

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 ¾ cup grated cheddar cheese

½ cup milk

½ tsp. prepared mustard

¼ tsp. salt

¼ tsp. pepper

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and return to the pot. Reserve ¾ cup of cheese and add remaining cheese and all other ingredients to the macaroni in the pot. Mix. Sprinkle with reserved ¾ cup of cheese.

Bake @ 350 for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and it is hot and bubbly

VARIATION--Try layering this over fully cooked sausage rounds

My home recipe is to buy Kraft (either in glass jar or box). Making anything today yourself costs money and time, neither of which people have anymore.
