Would more wind turbines in the U.S. help us reduce our dependence on foreign wind?

    No, but on foreign crude oil and foreign wind turbine technology.We are lagging behind the European countries such as Denmark and Germany in terms of research and development.To increase it here means more R$D.

    You mean foreign oil? If so then yes to an extent, but wind turbines make relatively low power and take up lots of space. So we could not simply go on all wind power in the U.S. If you actually did mean foreign wind, all wind is global so we all "share it".
