I have a 300 6 cylinder wanting to know if a 302 v8?
will bolt up to my transmission, 85 F150 4x4

As others have said, a late model 302 engine will bolt up to your existing transmission. I would question whether you are gaining anything by doing this swap though. The 300 6 cylinder engine has very good torque output, making it an excellent match for a 4x4 truck. If you want more power, then I would look at some performance tuning for the 6 cylinder engine.

Yes, they use the same Windsor bell housing and the transmissions are the same as well

The bell housing patterns are the same. As for gears, there is not that much of a difference between the two (if any). The engines still have the same RPM/speed shift points and should not be a problem.

No, it wont, even if it would physics are not that simple as your gear ratios in that transmission are FAR from being designed for the V8 power band.
You can use a car performance simulator to virtually do this kind of swaps and see how the truck would perform with the mod, or other engine/transmission combinations, you can find it at http://www.nxgtrsim.com/
