Platy no longer in labor?

I put my Platy in a breeding box 3 days ago, she looked like she was ready to go, arched back, boxy underside, white birth canal, and exhibiting a lot of the behaviors of a livebearer ready to birth. This will be my 3rd school of fry. Should I leave her in the breeding box? Did I put her in too soon? Is there something wrong? Any advice would be great. Thank you!

Yes, leave her in the breeding box, and remove her once she is "finished", or else she may eat the fry.

I believe you are doing everything correctly, and you yourself stated that you have experience with this (3rd school of fry).

    Keep up the good work!

i does not improve the warmth. each and every so often touching the heater is a good sized mistake. I actual have boiled fish earlier. not good! interior the breeding tank purely have water and rocks or in case you have the pregnant fish in there verify there is a few form of trees or some thing for them(the babies) to cover in. The mothers and all others will devour the hot fry (babies). Mama could have babies whilst she needs and not something gets her going. I continuously turn off the lighting fixtures for them and the babies. i recognize that rubbing against issues can recommend they are getting "ick" yet optimistically they only have an itch. Do take out mothers as quickly as they have the babies or fish nutrition. they are very carniverous. i don't recognize relating to the blue platy. She would not sound too healthy. nicely, besides i desire this works and good success!
