Help Ant tarps not working!?

I have a pavement ant problem, inside my house. I found two opening where they are coming from. I place ant traps next to each opening and the ants love the bait! I saw after the first day up to 13 ants at a time! I her dafter couple days the number are suppose to go down! Its been a week and I still see up to 13 ants at a time feeding on the ant bait!! What should I do get terro ant bait?

    Keep at it. Rotate baits: switch to a different bait that uses a different toxin. Switch again. Switch back to the first one. Keep going.

    Ants are adaptable and persistent. They reproduce quickly and constantly and on top of all that, the poison you put out is getting diluted through the vast numbers of the ant colony before it makes its way to the one ant that really matters; what you're trying to do is to kill the queen. What you're putting out may be killing workers here and there but it has to make its way all the way down the ant food chain to the queen. It's going to take more than a few days.

    that is what is supposed to happen it is a slow acting poison they carry bach to the queen to kill all the ants ..if they are eating it they will be gone soon ,unless they figures out what is happening and they will move the nest ..best i can figure we have 2 kind of ants one likes sweets and the other proteans ..i put sugar in the poison and if the ants don't eat it i put peanut butter in it works every time
