So does weed really make you dumb or lose brain cells?

Not really an appropriate question for the 'cancer' forum. 'Weed' is a drug which can cause psychological dependence/addiction and all the consequences of addiction such as turning a person into a self absorbed kind of jerk - and in the case of cannabis , it's long term abuse can cause damge to one's memory. It's consequences - like with any drug - vary somewhat per individual. I always hate stories where the person is using some substance everyday for so many years as if that's a kind of validation of it being good, when it makes me wonder instead what more they could have been if their life could have been not so wrapped up in such a drug. For example the person could cope drug free with life and learn better strengths and maturer coping skills by not using a drug eah day to do so...
