can i use regular outside summer time tanning lotion in a tanning bed instead of their over priced products?

No lotion intended for outdoor use should be used in a tanning bed. There are ingredients in those lotions that will ruin the acrylic (the clear "plastic" piece) that you lay on. If you can't afford the salon products, go to Sally's. You can find some inexpensive lotions there. If you have an eBay account, you can purchase the same lotions for less than 1/2 price of what your salon sells them for. Most of the sellers on eBay are salon owners.

Yes, but don't let the salon workers see you, they consider it equivalent to sneaking your own snacks into a movie theater!
