Best Drafting Team in the NBA?

I'd have to go with the Clippers actually. Even though they traded a lot of their recent draftees away.

Team that drafts the best? San Antonio Spurs.

Drafted DeJuan Blair, Manu Ginobli, Luis Scola (although he never played for the Spurs) in the second round, and look where they are now. They also stole George Hill, Tiago Splitter, Beno Udrih, Leandro Barbosa, John Salmons, and Tony Parker late in the first round. The organization never seems to make many mistakes in drafting, and the players they do select always turn out to be steals and players that develop into NBA-ready players quickly. They traded for Kawhi Leonard last summer on draft night, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn out well in the future.

The Clippers? It's not difficult to draft well when you're in the lottery practically every year. I'll go with the Spurs too. They win 50+ games every single year, which means they're drafting close to the bottom, but they still manage to find great players and keep themselves as an elite team.

San Antonio Spurs. Robinson, Parker, Duncan, George Hill, Manu in the second round.

Best at drafting talent and giving it away: Suns: Drafted Joe Johnson, Shawn Marion, Rajon Rondo, Steve Nash, Amare, & Stephen Jackson! Imagine all those guys playing together! Let all except one go.

Any team that picked Michael Olowokandi with the first overall pick can't be considered the best drafting team in the NBA. Yeah, they did pick Griffin, but he was the most obvious number one pick since Tim Duncan.

I'd say the Spurs are the best at drafting talent. They got Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili at the 29th and 57th overall picks. It's rare to find all-star level talent at those spots.
