You are designing a centrifuge to spin at a frequency of 15.0 rev/sec. What centripetal acceleration must the test tubes be able to withstand if they are located at a distance of 10.0cm from the center?

    R = 0.10 m

    w = V/R = 15.0(2π) = 30π rad/s

    Ac = V²/R = w²R = (30π)²(0.10) = 888 m/s² = 90.5g ANS
