How bad is it to inhale melted plastic?

if someone were to accidentally inhale some melted plastic, how much damage would it really cause? it's obviously not a good thing to do, but would any long term effects arise from a single incident?

It's BAD. the fumes are usually a Phosgene gas. A gas, outlawed by international convention. It can incapacitate you. The effects are cumulative. The whiff you get today, that you don't feel will add to the effect of the next exposure. It will literally prevent you from getting oxygen from the air you breathe. You will suffocate and/or drown!!

A lot of the smell in a new car or a car left in the hot sun is from phosgene gas. Nice stuff, huh?

Depends on your health situation. A low dose of a toxin by itself shouldn't cause much harm, but a low dose of a toxin added to a delicate situation can be "the straw that broke the camel's back".

Praying can't hurt; however, scriptures say that God doesn't listen to the prayers of the wicked. "The LORD is far from the wicked: but he hears the prayer of the righteous." (Proverbs 15:29)

They could die or else have to have surgery ASAP. It would be a nightmare for sure! Why are you thinking of such things??? oh, you did this? Get an X-ray. Are you breathing okay? That sounds bad.

Unless you do it as a habit or are exposed to it on a constant basis, there are no adverse health effects. You harm yourself more by eating at McDonalds.

You obviously didn't inhale much, so it'll work thru the system naturally. And the other guy's right: McDonald's will kill you faster.

Dude learn how to work that Grafix Bong or go buy a glass one.

Don't worry about long term effects, your brain is dead
