True Religion and True Path - What is True Path and which religion show the true path to God?

Many religions also say they are the only true religion and the only way to God. Not only that, but in each religion there are branches or divisions, sects and sub‑sects that say the same thing about themselves, that they are the only ones in that religion who follow the true path to God and all others are misleading or worse, or will take you to hell. Thus, even though they may be of the same faith, they become at odds with each other, or even at war.

Read about Buddhism / Hinduism .i think it will help you !

I am a Hindu ! We believe that all the ways leads us to the same goal !

we should respect each others views,,if all the religious people think about it there will be no religious killings, and there will be no conversion's by sward or reward, see the post bellow (Hindus view )

Hinduism says that " ALL THE WAYS LEADS US TO THE SAME GOAL" .

There are a little over 1 billion hindus in the world "As the different streams having their sources in different paths which men take through different tendencies, various though they appear, crooked or straight, all lead to Thee."

Here is something what SWAMI VIVEKANANDA said at The World’s Parliament of Religions

    Chicago, 15th September 1893

Swami Vivekananda : I will tell you a little story. You have heard the eloquent speaker who has just finished say, “Let us cease from abusing each other,” and he was very sorry that there should be always so much variance.

But I think I should tell you a story which would illustrate the cause of this variance. A frog lived in a well. It had lived there for a long time. It was born there and brought up there, and yet was a little, small frog. Of course, the evolutionists were not there then to tell us whether the frog lost its eyes or not, but, for our story’s sake, we must take it for granted that it had its eyes, and that it every day cleansed the water of all the worms and bacilli that lived in it with an energy that would do credit to our modern bacteriologists. In this way it went on and became a little sleek and fat. Well, one day another frog that lived in the sea came and fell into the well.

    “Where are you form?”

    “I am from the sea.”

“The sea! How big is that? Is it as big as my well?” and he took a leap from one side of the well to the other.

“My friend,” said the frog of the sea, “how do you compare the sea with your little well?”

Then the frog took another leap and asked, “Is your sea so big?”

“What nonsense you speak, to compare the sea with your well!”

“Well, then,” said the frog of the well, “nothing can be bigger than my well; there can be nothing bigger than this; this fellow is a liar, so turn him out.”

That has been the difficulty all the while.

I am a Hindu. I am sitting in my own little well and thinking that the whole world is my little well. The Christian sits in his little well and thinks the whole world is his well. The Mohammedan sits in his little well and thinks that is the whole world. l have to thank you of America for the great attempt you are making to break down the barriers of this little world of ours, and hope that, in the future, the Lord will help you to accomplish your purpose.

“By the sky which returns.” (Quran 86:11)

“[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling…” (Quran 2:22)

In the first verse God swears by the sky[1] and its function of ‘returning’ without specifying what it ‘returns.’ In Islamic doctrine, a divine oath signifies the magnitude of importance of a special relation to the Creator, and manifests His majesty and the supreme Truth in a special way.

The second verse describes the Divine Act that made the sky a ‘ceiling’ for the dwellers of earth.

Let us see what modern atmospheric science has to say about the role and function of the sky.

The atmosphere is a word which denotes all the air surrounding the earth, from the ground all the way up to the edge from which space starts. The atmosphere is composed of several layers, each defined because of the various phenomena which occur within the layer.

The science of modern cosmology, observational and theoretical, clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of ‘smoke’ (i.e. an opaque highly dense and hot gaseous composition).[1] This is one of the undisputed principles of standard modern cosmology. Scientists now can observe new stars forming out of the remnants of that ‘smoke’ (see figures 1 and 2).

In my opinion, no religion is the true path. The true path can only be found by following your own beliefs. The moment you let someone (a person, a church, or a book) tell you what is "right" to believe, you are no longer on the true path.

There are many true paths, but only one for each of us, and one step off the path is no longer the path.

Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one gets to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6) "Nor is there salvation (the benefits and blessings in the eternal kingdom of God) in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12) Peter said this of Jesus Christ.

It is an ignorence to say that only my religion leads to God and other religion doesn't.Every religion which was formed by a Siddha Guru, which has pramanas of Vedas, upanishads, sastras and Gurus lead us to Almighty God.

I believe we shouldn't get stuck in the name of Religion and we should'nt limit ourselves in the name of religion.

If we truly love God we must have limitless expression of devotion towords God by practicing every faith we believe in.And also by following and implimenting orders of ones spiritual Siddha Guru.

Every religion which as pramanam of Vedas lead us to God.

For eg:Major religions of the world today like Hinduism,Islam,Christianity,Buddhism,Sikhism has pramanam of sanathana dharmam. They all lead us to God.

    My friend,

The concept of all religions are same i.e., the goal /destiny of our souls is to return / reunite to God.

Different religion calls it in a different language according to the region where they belong to. The ultimate goal / destiny for Jews and Christians is Heaven, for Hindus Moksha or Nirvana and Muslims for Jannat.

To attain this goal / destiny Major religions like Judaism, Hinduism and Islam recommends many rituals and practices, but they do not identify any one who has promised to lead them of their destiny.

But in Christianity Jesus the Christ promises to lead our soul to Heaven i.e. the Kingdom of God and to be with God Almighty.

So who ever accepts Jesus as savoir and follow him he will lead us to our goal / destiny.

    Jesus said:

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Only Jesus can lead us to reach our goal / destiny.
