Ipod Touch Dropped in Water Help!!!!!!!!?

OMG I accidentally dropped my ipod in water and now the touch screen doesn't work!!!!!!!!!! I haven't told my dad yet cuz i would be in big trouble, does anyone know how to fix it???? Everything works except for the touch screen, so i can like restart it and stuff and rpess the buttons but the screen wont work.

    Leave it in a bowl of uncooked rice over night.The rice absorbs the liquid .Make sure it's completely covered in rice from all sides.It works if done right.

    Put it in uncooked rice over night. Take the case off if you have one and completely cover the ipod. Its worked for my phone every time!

    Take it to an Apple store or leave it in rice like the others said.
