My computer is making gurgling sounds when turned on, I cleaned it from the inside- what else can I do?
My old (4-5 years old) stationary computer has been making loud sounds starting from a few secnds to turning it on - and up to a minute or two after windows is up.
I have open the box, cleaned everything with a can of compressed air + a brush (I'v watched several DIY videos on what and where to clean) and still it makes these noises......
What else could be the problem? other then that the computer is working fine (the noise stops after a few mintes).
* People have suggested me to listen to where the noise is coming from (from the inside) but I can't tell.
* The vent (don't know which one of the 2) was replaced about a year ago - but as I understood these are not parts you are suppose to replace in a normal situation.

This sounds like a fan that needs to be replaced. Once the bearings wear out in the fan it will make noises that can sound like gurgling (this can be the fan(s) in your power supply as well). This will get better once the computer warms up but in the long run- the fan will need to be replaced. These are generally fairly cheap to replace- just make sure you buy the same size.
If it is the power supply fan- you will need to replace the entire unit as it is considered a field replaceable unit- meaning you should not open it as there will still be quite a lot of power inside it even when unplugged.
