WAS Jesus real please read?
Basically, there are no known non-biblical references to a historical Jesus by any historian or
other writer of the time during and shortly after Jesus's purported advent. As Barbara G.
Walker says, "No literate person of his own time mentioned him in any known writing."20
Hellenistic Jewish philosopher Philo Judaeus of Alexandria (20 BCE-50 AD/CE)—alive at the
purported time of Jesus, and one of the wealthiest and best connected citizens of the Empire—
makes no mention of Christ, Christians or Christianity in his voluminous writings. Nor do any
of the dozens of other historians and writers who flourished during the first one to two
centuries of the common era.21
In the entire works of the Jewish historian Josephus (37-c. 100 AD/CE), which constitute
hundreds of pages, there are only two paragraphs that purport to refer to Jesus. Although
much has been made of these "references," they have been dismissed by many scholars and
even by Christian apologists as forgeries, as have been those referring to John the Baptist and
James, "brother" of Jesus. Bishop Warburton (1698-1779) labeled the Josephus interpolation
regarding Jesus as "a rank forgery, and a very stupid one, too."22
The arguments against this
passage called the Testimonium Flavianum ("TF") are detailed and can be found in my other
books, especially Suns of God and Who Was Jesus?
Several writers conclude that it was Eusebius himself who forged the passage.23
As Dr. Alice
Whealey remarks, "No other ancient writer knew Josephus' works anywhere near well enough
to have crafted something so similar to Josephus' style.

Yes, He was real since the Trinity is God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit.

Your concern of the darkish changed into irrational, so why shouldn't we anticipate your theory in Jesus is? there are more than a number of causes for what has befell to you (you grew up, or your theory in Jesus is a placebo). we are able to describe this scientifically. And regardless of if that is not evidence that God would not exist, that is nonetheless no longer evidence contained in the bible, or Jesus, or God. btw - by using your common sense, your being frightened of the darkish ought to also be a miracle. also changed into this a shaggy dog tale? heavily.

Your line one is incorrect. There are contemporary accounts of Jesus. There are a lot more writings that don't mention him, but, why would they? He was seen by society as just another criminal. We in fact know more about Jesus than we do about Pontius Pilate - who was a governor, and a man of very high rank.
No credible scholars doubts the existence of Jesus. About the claims made for him, sure, but that he existed, there is no doubt at all.

And how, pray tell did Christianity start? Name one major religious, theological or political movement without a historical figure at its origin.
Better yet name one respected, historian that will put his career on the line and publish a peer reviewed work stating that Jesus was not a historical figure.
# Was Jesus a historical figure?
It is not unusual to read posts here calling into question whether Jesus of Nazareth was a historical figure.
Although references to Jesus Christ by early secular historians are meager, such references do exist and few serious historians actually doubt that Jesus existed: References to Jesus by Tacitus*(who has been described as the greatest Roman historian), Suetonius¤, Pliny the Younger, and at least one by Flavius Josephus**, are generally accepted as proof of the historical existence of Jesus.
The Encyclopædia Britannica thus concludes: “These independent accounts prove that in ancient times even the opponents of Christianity never doubted the historicity of Jesus, which was disputed for the first time and on inadequate grounds by several authors at the end of the 18th, during the 19th, and at the beginning of the 20th centuries.”—1974 Edition, Vol. 10, p. 145.

** The first-century Jewish historian Josephus referred to the stoning of “James, the brother of Jesus who was called the Christ.” (The Jewish Antiquities, Josephus, Book XX, sec.9.1).

“Early Talmudical accounts” of Jesus confirm ‘both the existence and the general character of Jesus.’ -Jesus of Nazareth, p. 20, Joseph Klausner [Polemic references to Jesus in the Talmud however, are accepted as genuine by certain scholars but not by others].
