The icons on internet explorer have stopped working?

Question

Since yesterday the icons on the interent page have stopped working such as the home button etc and when i click on a button (ie in an email that says press this button to respond) that should open up another page it just opens an empty page. Please help

Try disabling Browser add ons in Manage  Add ons. They can be reenabled.

With  IE open, click on the gear icon in upper right  of screen.

Google prob has the answer. Include which  IE your have, like 7 , 8 or 9. and which operating system, xp home, vista, etc.

Update and run your  anti virus/spyware prog.

you have a scourge it quite is defaulting for internet explorer to open an internet site. verify the website that that's attempting to open. if its no longer your place web site then it must be a scourge
