Girls: How do you feel now about your first time?

I'd like to know because a friend of mine recently got married to a nice guy, but she says that she will always have feelings for the man who was her first time, even though it was only once. Do all girls feel this way? As a man, I don't feel this way. Is it something only women feel, do you think? Have your feelings changed over time?

Umm, I don't think it's a universal thing women feel. A friend of mine is kind of disgusted by the guy who was her first and has no feelings for him whatsoever. My first time was with a guy who was my best friend for so long, and then we became a couple but only for a few months and it was always like more of a friendship. But we were both virgins and he was very nice, sweet, respectful and so I still care about him, not in a romantic way or even an attracted way whatsoever but I will always wish the best for him and always hope he is happy wherever life takes him because he's a good guy and I feel bad for breaking his heart. But that's just my situation. But in short NO I don't have FEELINGS for him, I love my current boyfriend more than any guy ive ever been with.

I can't speak for all the other girls, but I still feel a certain affection for my first. It's been a long time, and I recall having much stronger feelings when I was younger.

That said, if he waltzed into my life today, he wouldn't have an advantage over anyone else.

I think your friend's feelings will fade in time, especially if she only had one intimate encounter with that man.
