6.6 gal bookshelf aquarium?
http://www.petco.com/product/14978/Petco-Bookshelf...
Is it a good price? What should i put in it? I know it is only 6 gallons! Could i have shell dwelling cichlids? Where do i find them
What should be substrate?
I am wondering about it and what should I use for a filter?
I know I can get 10 gallon for $30. I have four 10 gallon tanks, two 20 gallons tanks and a 6 foot 100 gallon tank. A total of 180 gallons

While it's only 6.6 gal, at least it's long, so that makes it more suitable for fish than a normal small tank.
The price isn't too bad as it includes a light and a filter, built into the hood.
You will need a heater if you want tropical fish, and because of that length it would actually be OK for guppies or Neons. It's 24" long, that's the same length as a 20gal tank. You wont be able to have many, but maybe 4 guppies or 6 neons?
With no heater I would get White Cloud Minnows.

Again, because of the tank length, they will be fine in there.

Yeah its a great price! No cichlids.
Use a small JAD filter or sponge filter.
Fine gravel substrate is good and looks lovely.
And i would say a dwarf gourami with some shirmp.
Or 6 neon tetras with some shrimp.
Or 1 male betta fish with some shrimp.
Thats all i would put in a 6 gallon. or 6.6 gallon if your one of those prescise people ;----)

I like how its long, but you can buy a 10 gallon for $30 with a filter.
I'm not sore for a 6g but in a 10 I know you can do a few shell dwellers.
gravel or sand for substrate, I think it is really your choice and what fish you put in
