Sea World Orlando Food Policy - strict?

We are more familiar with the Disney routine but are thinking of trying Sea World this year on our school break. I get in free (Teacher study pass) and can buy kids the Fun Card. I haven't been since I was a teenager. The food policy basically says you can't bring any in except babies or special dietary needs. My friend goes and packs a backpack with drinks and snacks with no issue but she travels with a 1 year old. My youngest is 6. Can I pack in bottled waters and snacks/fruits etc? I would bring a small umbrella type stroller and leave my packed bag with the stroller rather than carry it all day (I always do that at Disney.) Or would I have to dump packed foods at gate per their policy? Obviously PB Crackers and granola bars really aren't "special diet" foods...lol! I can't afford to buy meals in park or the meal program (would be 100 bucks a day for 4 of us) so it may be wiser to just pay extra and do Disney again with Play 3 since we can pack all our own food in. Just playing with options and wondered if they are strict or tend to look other way. It would be just mom and 3 kids going.

Small packaged snacks are fine. Juice bottles with small straws will be asked to be taken off, but can be taken in.Your own water bottles / fruits are fine. If the bag checker is doing their job any food, sandwiches unless for dietary needs cannot go in. They will give you the option of putting it back in your car or rent lockers. Picnic areas are available just outside the park.

I work at an area theme park and I do know that all area theme parks do allow food because of people on special diets and food limitations with alergies and things. They do not allow any sort of glass to be brought into any of the parks but smadwiches and bags of chips and cookies and bottles of water/soda/juice is fine. My best friend is on a wheat free diet and last time we went he brought grilled chicken and veggies in tupperware and they didnt say anything!Have Fun and make sure you see the new Sesame Street Stuff! It is SO cute!!!

Usually, the food policies at theme parks in Orlando are pretty relaxed. They really don't care, those bag searches are for weaponry and such. As long as it isn't a huge cooler and an insulated backpack, they probably won't hold you back.
