I'm scared of facing my bullies again, but its been 5 years! How do i get over this?
I know this sounds a bit wimpy or insane, but i was badly bullied as a child and now it can still affect some things sometimes, my friend asked me to go to this event thing but i saw who was going (facebook) and A LOT of my bullies are going...its not that they will DO anything, they just all avoid me...i suffer from really bad anxiety and it has affected my health and my weight in the past...i think i have tackled it all quite well if i'm honest, its just this one thing i cant get over, i really dont want to see them all again...i feel like im branded as that girl who 'got bullied' and i feel like if i got out and try to have a good time i will just get laughed at...any advice? thank you :)

I know how you feel, I would just go and make them see that you can be a strong person, laugh, have fun, smile. It may be a little hard at first but it will get better. Those are cruel people and they don;t deserve to take anymore away from you. You will feel so glad you were able to face them, who knows, sometimes people change and maybe seeing them again will get you passed the bullying you went though. good luck and look forward :)

Bullying is a touchy subject for a lot of people. You shouldn't be embarrassed of something that want your fault. I know a lot of people just say forget them and ignore them, but this can be hard. You need to explain to your friends about the bullying if they don't already know. If you can't face your bullies, you don't have to. Just try and live your life. If they start laughing at you, turn around and stand in a crowd of friends. Tell your friends you may need protecting if they do start harassing you. You can't live your life in hiding.
