Question about a Hebrew Translation?
Does anyone know what this means: http://www.mypicx.com/02192012/Hebrew/
Thanks!
@ omg Thanks for the answer. Could it possibly mean something else? That was stamped on a magazine of a submachine gun that was used extensively during WW2. Perhaps that was a post war manufacture, but there were millions of them made during the war. I don't think there was a need for post war production.

A search gives the following[1]:
During the forties, as part of the fight against the Arabs, the Israelis set up a small arms industry (it was clandestine, as the British ruled the land). The weapon chosen for mass manufacturing was the Sten. Wikipedia says that was in '47, but a more detailed page[2] mentions '45 already (maybe earlier). It was manufactured under the name ת.מ.ת. (English: T.M.T.; acronym for "[T]at [M]akle'a [T]otseret Avoda Ivrit", which means "Submachine gun Hebrew manufacturing"). 9 mm bullets too were manufactured (By the end of 1949, 2.25 million bullets were hand-made; these were engraved with "A", "E" and "8"/"9" according to the year). A few thousands of these Stens were manufactured. The Sten was used by the Hagana/IDF till the mid fifties (when it was replaced by the Uzi).
I myself understand nothing in weapons, so I can't tell if that's indeed the meaning of your "TMT". If it really bothers you I can ask your question in an Israeli forum[3].
(BTW, I'm living in the city in whose outskirts was the clandestine ammo factory[4][5].)

Don't recognize if it is the first-class, however the "Pentateuch and Haftorahs" by means of Joseph H Hertz was once used for years in lots of synagogues and temples practically all over the place. Another thought could also be "The Chumash: The Stone Edition ( Artscroll (Mesorah))" by means of Nosson Sherman is an Orthodox newsletter after which there's "The Torah: A Modern Commentary" by means of Gunther W Plout ( Reform ).
